Serene & Peaceful Guest Room

Inspiration Two San Jose, CA homeowners in a historic Spanish bungalow wanted to redecorate their guest bedroom. It had previously been used as a rental space but they wanted to use it as a guest space for friends and family to visit. They wanted their guests to feel relaxed in a serene space and they also wanted the room to feel contemporary, yet respectful and complementary of the historic Spanish style home. Existing Bedroom Conditions The bedroom was a blank space with four white walls and some existing window treatments such as 2-inch blinds in the windows and vertical blinds over the sliding door. Cape Cod Inspired Bedroom

Inspiration Two Morgan Hill, CA homeowners wanted to redecorate their master bedroom. Some of the homeowners favorite vacation places included the Hamptons, Cape Cod, and Martha's Vineyard. They wanted their master bedroom to remind them of their travels to those favorite places. Existing Bedroom Conditions The bedroom was cluttered with many items and too much furniture. Existing furniture and window treatments were a combination of gifts from family members, purchased at discount stores, or were already in the room when they bought the  home. The "before" picture Decorating, Design, and Styling Services Provided Board and batten wainscoting was installed, the room was painted, shutters were installed, and new nightstands were purchased.
